Excuses, Excuses
I tell my students first thing that I don't want to hear any excuses. I want to hear solutions, people! If you forgot your homework on the kitchen counter, I want to hear that you called your grandma and she is bringing it to you. If you don't have a pencil, I want to see you borrowing one from my magical drawer of pencils. If your dog ate your narrative essay, I want you write a new essay about what happened and I want you to turn it in on time.
And yet today, I have neither excuse or solution for my problem of not being able to come up with some sort of interesting/unique/dynamic/life changing and/or affirming post.
Except this one.
My excuse: I. Am. Tired.
That's it.
My solution: See you tomorrow!
