Full Moon Crazy

The last ten days of my life have consisted of:
Writing and memorizing a ten-minute monologue
Dressing up and doing a performance as a woman from the 1890's
Driving four hours, doing said performance, turning around and driving four hours in a snowstorm
Lecturing on the six traits of writing four times a day for five days
Attending a retreat with 100 very active 13-year-olds
Shopping for and buying two winter coats, one that will have to be returned
Experiencing the first biting cold and snowfall of the season (see above)
And many other things too numerous and mundane to mention here...

But most of all, I have been waiting and waiting and waiting for my sister and her husband to officially make me the auntie to their little wee pumpkin. There have been contractions and dilation and effacing and yet, no baby. I can't wait to meet the little tiny miracle that will be my newest relation.

And so we wait...
